For interior use, the preparation of walls must be made in accordance with the building codes for the preparation of walls for painting. Minor defects and scratches are not allowed. We draw your attention to the fact that the pronounced curvature of the walls and frequent deep defects will have a significant impact on the consumption of decorative material in a big way.

Before applying the decorative plaster surface must be strengthened and primed with a special impregnation of deep penetration PRIMER NORMAL. Drying time: 4-6 hours.

DECOR

The first layer should be applied with a thickness of 1-2 mm, leaving nodules that form boundaries resembling the veins of natural stone. It is this technique, in consequence, that will work as the basis for imitation of the veins of natural marble, therefore we recommend that you carefully consider their projection. Drying time of the first layer: 4-8 hours, then you can start applying the second layer. Before applying the second layer, we recommend lightly (it is necessary to save the created nodules and streaks) to treat the surface using sandpaper such as K1000. This technique will eliminate light defects made during the application of the first layer.

The material is applied with a classic technique using a Venetian stainless steel trowel, in a thin layer, covering the entire surface. The second layer is not polished, since it is necessary to preserve the adhesion with the subsequent layer. After 4-6 hours, apply a third final coat. And after 10-15 minutes after application, polish the surface with a Venetian trowel to a glossy effect.

Before applying the wax protective coating SPECCHIO CERA, the finished decorative coating should be completely dry and consolidate - at least 7 days. The wax is applied with the same tool (Venetian trowel), a thin layer, covering the entire surface. The technique of applying wax is identical to the technique of applying finishing layers of Venetian plaster. After application, the wax should dry and the walls will become completely dull. Waxing time: 4-8 hours. Then, using natural wool or special wool mittens, in a circular motion, without much pressure on the surface, polish the entire surface to a glossy effect. If you decorate walls in rooms with high operational loads or with high humidity (bathroom, basement or pool), we recommend re-applying a wax coating after 24 hours,

Full drying time of the decorative coating: 24 hours.
