Material can be applied both on old (already covered floors) and on new.

New floors should be prepared in accordance with the building code. The system of warm floors is allowed. Leveling screed required! Before starting to decorate, the screed should dry out completely, according to the manufacturer's technical recommendations.

After the preparatory work, the surface must be primed with a special impregnation of deep penetration - PRIMER NORMAL. Primer better in 2 layers. Interlaminar drying time: 2-4 hours; Full drying time: 24 hours.

DECOR

The Venetian floor system consists of two integral components:

MARMORINO FLOOR is a dry mixture of medium grain (MEDIUM) and fine grain (FINE). Supplied in buckets of 20 kg.

AQA is a special liquid mixture - thinner. Supplied in canisters of 9 liters.

Thus, in order to obtain a finished mixture, it is necessary to mix the components together in the following ratio: 20 kg MARMORINO FLOOR per 9 l AQA. As a result, you get 29 kg of white paste. Immediately after mixing, the material should be clocked. It should be noted that the finished mixture should be consumed within 2-3 hours, then the material begins to harden, gaining high strength - the process is irreversible. Therefore, on large volumes it is better to prepare the mixture in portions, and the colorant should be in separate containers designed for batch volume. Before applying the decorative plaster MARMORINO FLOOR MEDIUM, the surface must be covered with a special construction mesh (cell 5x5 mm). This will prevent the formation of microcracks in the future. The first layer should be applied in a white base color, covering the entire surface, so that the construction grid is not visible. It should be applied with the classic Venetian technique, leaving light tides that imitate marble veins. Drying time after application: 12-24 hours. If after applying the first layer, the grid could not be covered, then a second layer can be applied.

The second and third layers are applied with fine grain material - MARMORINO FLOOR FINE. Prepare the mixture and add in it a colorant of the chosen color and mix thoroughly until a mass of uniform color is obtained. After mixing it is necessary to immediately apply the material. It should be applied with the same technique as a classic Venetian - in a thin layer, covering the surface, leaving no nodules or scratches. Interlaminar drying time 4-6 hours. Full drying 24-48 hours.

After the decor is completely dry, the surface should be sanded using sandpaper such as K380, in a circular motion or using a special grinding machine (on large areas). This procedure will give the surface a perfectly smooth and polished appearance, as well as show a texture depth resembling natural marble. After sanding, remove any dust from the surface.

PROTECTION

The last stage is a protective varnish coating. Here you should know that several protective coatings are provided for this coating, namely:.

FLOOR POLYURETHANE VARNISH is a water-based polyurethane clear varnish, odorless and toxic volatile substances. The varnish is diluted with water and applied with a special velor roller for varnishes. There are 2 types: matte (MATT) and semi-gloss (60%) - SATINE. Varnish is the main protective material for the floors of the series MARMORINO FLOOR. It is applied with a roller strictly in 2 layers !!! Interlaminar drying time 8-12 hours. Full drying time 24-48 hours.

FLOOR SEMIGLOSSY WAX - a protective semi-gloss varnish on a wax basis. It has high water-repellent properties, therefore it is intended as an ADDITIONAL protective coating when using decor in areas of direct interaction with water (showers, basins, for finishing sinks and countertops in bathrooms and kitchens). Apply varnish with a roller in 1-2 layers. Interlaminar drying time: 4 hours. Drying time 24 hours.

The material has a high plasticity when applied, which allows longer work with the material, and the flow rate reaches 5-6 square meters with 1 kilogram of product. It should also be noted that the material is easily polished and allows you to easily achieve a high degree of texture depth and a mirror-glossy effect.

When used in bathrooms and in shower areas (where there is a direct hit of water), the material should be protected with a wax coating of SPECHIO CERA.

The system provides two main material bases:

ANTICO VENEZIANO CLASSIC Light - ideally white, for receiving light colors,

ANTICO VENEZIANO CLASSIC Dark - for dark and rich colors.
