Material can be applied both on old (already covered floors) and on new.

New floors should be prepared in accordance with the building code. The system of warm floors is allowed. Leveling screed required! Before starting to decorate, the screed should dry completely, according to the manufacturer's technical recommendations.

If the floors are already covered with ceramic granite tiles, natural stone, laminate flooring or floorboard, then do not rush to start dismantling the floors. Since the MATRIX system includes a special material - ALTO SPESSORE, which was created specifically for such cases. The putty is supplied dry and must be mixed with ordinary water before use, as a result of which a pasty thick mixture of white color will be obtained. You should mix the volume that you need at a particular moment, otherwise the remaining prepared mixture will harden and turn into an unsuitable fossilized solid mass. Immediately after preparing the mixture, proceed to grout the joints, leveling the surface with the main plane of the floors. If the floors are too old and have an emergency condition, then the entire surface can be pierced. In this way, without dismantling the old tile or any other coating, you get a ready-made, even surface for decorating. Drying time of filler: 4-6 hours.

After the preparatory work, the surface must be primed with a special deep penetration impregnation - PRIMER MATRIX FLOOR. Primer better in 2 layers. Interlaminar drying time: 2-4 hours; Full drying time: 24 hours.

After priming the surface, it is necessary to apply a special high-strength substrate - INTERMEDIAL. This is a special tinted substrate with high waterproofing and elasticity. The material also prevents the occurrence of micro cracks during the operation of floors. Apply the substrate by ordinary painting in 1-2 layers. Interlayer drying time: 4-6 hours. Full drying time: 24 hours. When decorating furniture, doors or walls, as a substrate, you can use a special coating - PRIMER LISCIO.

DECOR

To create cracked floors, you only need one tool:

Venetian classic trowel (art. 21065)

Apply CRACLE clear lacquer to the prepared surface with a simple brush. Varnish is a jelly-like clear liquid. Apply a varnish should be a thin layer, covering the surface, which must be subjected to cracking. After applying, leave the varnish to dry for 1-3 hours, NO MORE.

Then apply a decorative MATRIX base, zakolerovanyu in the specified color using a Venetian trowel, even layer up to 1 mm. Apply the material should be smooth, leaving light flows, as in the technique of applying Venetian classic plaster for the first layer. Interspersing will allow to form deeper cracks and project veins that will appear later. During drying, the lacquer will crack the decorative coating. Drying time: 12 - 24 hours.

After the first layer dries, apply a thin layer of decorative MATRIX (D / A) in the base white color to the cracked surface only on the cracked spots and a thin layer, trying to score only the cracks themselves. Drying time: 12-24 hours.

After complete drying, first sand the surface with P320 emery paper to the base color, so that the entire surface becomes the main color and the cracks remain white. After, polish the surface with wool and trowel. On large volumes, you can use power tools to polish surfaces. Before polishing with a rag, first walk around a little Venetian trowel with rounded corners - this will allow you to show the outlines of the skin relief. Polishing will give an incredible depth of texture and play of shades of color. Leave the surface of the decorated floors to dry for another 12 hours.

PROTECTION

The last stage is a protective varnish coating. Here you should know that for this coating there are 3 different protective varnishes, namely:

VETRIFICANTE POLIURETANICO is a water-based polyurethane clear lacquer, odorless and toxic volatile. The varnish is diluted with water and applied with a special velor roller for varnishes. There are 2 types: matte (with a tactile effect of Soft Touch) and glossy (80%). Designed for floors and walls in residential spaces and areas with low traffic (low operating load).

VETRIFICANTE EPOSSIDICO - Environmentally friendly, water-based epoxy-based two-component varnish, odorless and toxic volatile substances. Qualitatively meets the highest requirements of environmental standards in Europe and Russia. Before use, it is necessary to mix with the catalyst in the following ratio: 1.25 liters (1,250 ml) of catalyst is per liter (1000 ml.) Of varnish - CATALIZZATORE 2K H2O. For convenience of drawing add 10-15% of usual water to ready mix. Dilution with water will allow to dilute the mixture (it is more convenient to roll out with a roller) and reduce the drying rate (it is possible to work longer). Varnish has a glossy (95%) deep effect. Designed to protect floors in areas with high operational loads and with high passable ability (public spaces, shops, restaurants, hotels, etc.)

VETRIFICANTE 1K is a clear, water-based acrylic clear varnish, odorless and no harmful volatile substances. It gives the surface excellent protection against moisture and dirt, and also protects against gross mechanical damage. This varnish is designed to protect decorated surfaces such as: furniture, doors, countertops, walls (including bathrooms and pools), etc. The material is produced in 3 types: glossy, semi-glossy and matte (with a pleasant tactile effect of Soft Touch).

After choosing the desired varnish according to the characteristics, apply it on the decorated surface and leave the floors to dry for 24 hours. That is, you can walk on the floor after 24 hours.
