TRAINING
For the exterior use of this decorative coating, the preparation of the facade must be carried out in accordance with the building code. For interior use, the preparation of walls must be made in accordance with the building codes for the preparation of walls for painting. Minor defects and scratches are allowed in both cases. We draw your attention to the fact that the pronounced curvature of the walls and frequent deep defects will have a significant impact on the consumption of decorative material in a big way.
DECOR
After the preparatory work and the complete drying of the surface, you can begin to apply decorative INTONACHINO plaster. The material should be applied in 2 layers. Interlaminar drying time 4-8 hours. The first layer should be applied smoothly, covering the entire surface. Before applying the second layer of decor to the wall, it is necessary to mark it with a narrow masking tape on the glue base - so that the gluing lines repeat the brick joints. The second layer should be applied exactly as the first one. Immediately after applying the second layer, scratch the surface horizontally with the edge of the trowel. Scratches should be created without special pressure and short chaotic lines with one direction (in our case, the direction is horizontal). To familiarize yourself with this technique, We recommend that you consult our specialists or take a master class. Tool for application is: Venetian stainless steel trowel with rounded corners. For facade work we recommend using a large or medium size trowel. Immediately after applying the decorative layer, remove the marking tape and leave the surface to dry completely.
The final step is the application of a siloxane-based VELATURA finish coating. The tool for applying is a simple paint roller. It can be applied only after the decor dries completely. Since INTONACHINO is a facade material, mandatory protection is not required, therefore this stage can be excluded, however, impregnation with varnish will increase the service life of the coating and eliminate frequent cleaning of the facade
Time of full drying of a decorative covering: 24 hours
