Decorative plaster with the effect of natural travertine. The decor has a matte and sometimes glossy, porous appearance with a high degree of protection against moisture, which allows it to be used as a wall and ceiling decoration for kitchens, bathrooms, pools, corridors or basements.

TRAINING
For interior use, the preparation of walls must be made in accordance with the building codes for the preparation of walls for painting. Minor defects and scratches are allowed. We draw your attention to the fact that the pronounced curvature of the walls and frequent deep defects will have a significant impact on the consumption of decorative material in a big way.
DECOR
The material TRAVERTINO IMPERIUM should be applied in 2 coats. Interlaminar drying time 4-8 hours. The first layer should be applied smoothly, covering the entire surface. The second layer should be applied by the same method as the first, maintaining the layer thickness, which depends on the desired depth of the shells. In other words, the more pronounced the texture you would like to reproduce, the thicker the layer should be applied, but not more than 3 mm. 10-15 minutes after the application of the material, using a Venetian trowel, use the edge of the trowel to direct the surface with directional movements to create a multitude of deep scratches. Note that the scratches have, just, the depth equal to the thickness of the layer. Now leave the wall to dry for 20-30 minutes, so that excessive moisture has evaporated and the material is slightly grabbed. Taking advantage of the classic Venetian trowel with rounded corners, smooth the surface with chaotic movements in different directions. Please note that when smoothing, the number and depth of craters remaining depends on the degree of pressure on the instrument. Therefore, we recommend attentively to this process. Drying time is 24 hours.
To give the decor an additional effect, we recommend applying a decor glaze using a coded translucent paint - VELATURA or CERATO, which in this case will serve as a water-repellent protective coating. Before applying the material is best diluted with water at 20-30%. Apply the material with a sponge. Drying time: 4-6 hours.
Time of full drying of a decorative covering: 24 hours

In order to achieve the play of shades and get closer to the real effect of natural stone, we recommend introducing an additional finishing coat, pre-chalked up, into the required color - VELATURA (matte) or CERATO (glossy), which will serve as an additional protective varnish from dirt and water.
