The material is an interior coating, therefore, requires special attention to the preparation of the walls. The preparation of the walls must comply with the SNiP for painting. As a finishing putty, we recommend using ORSO Infinity material or another equivalent that meets the high quality characteristics of this type of product.

For the effect of wet silk: After priming the walls with a special primer impregnation (drying time 4-6 hours), you should apply a special substrate - Primer Liscio. Apply the substrate should be roller, covering the entire surface (like normal paint),

For the effect of crumpled silk: When applying a material with the effect of crumpled silk, as a substrate, you should apply a special ORSO Infinity filler leaving nodules (using the technique of the first layer of classic Venetian plaster), which form boundaries resembling the veins of natural stone. It is this technique that subsequently will work as the basis for the imitation of the veins, therefore we recommend to treat their projection with taste. After drying, we recommend lightly (it is necessary to preserve the created nodules and streaks) to sand the surface using sandpaper such as K1500, in order to eliminate the light defects formed during application.

DECOR

Before applying the decorative material ANTICO VELLUTO, we recommend to thoroughly mix it, since pigments and special fillers can be deposited during prolonged storage. For the application of the material will require a Venetian or a special plastic trowel for decorative works. Technique for applying decorative plaster ANTICO VELLUTO with the effect of crumpled silk is similar to the technique for finishing layers of classic Venetian plaster. It should be noted that when applying ANTICO VELLUTO, polishing the surface is excluded. The material is applied in 2 layers. Interlayer drying time: 4-6 hours. The second layer can be applied by adjusting the thickness to obtain more pronounced streaks (thin layer) or less (then the layer is increased).

To obtain the effect of wet silk, try to apply the classical method evenly covering the surface.

Florentine technique differs from the classic when applying the second layer. Immediately after applying the second layer, using a Venetian trowel or a special tool CLOUD (washer) in a circular and twisting movements create the effect of a tightly curled cloth. The longer the surface is processed, the finer the texture will be.

Full drying time of the decorative coating: 24 hours.
