TRAINING
For interior use, the preparation of walls must be made in accordance with the building codes for the preparation of walls for painting. Minor defects and scratches are allowed. We draw your attention to the fact that the pronounced curvature of the walls and frequent deep defects will have a significant impact on the consumption of decorative material in a big way.
DECOR
Intonachino should be applied in 2 coats. Interlaminar drying time 4-8 hours. The first layer should be applied smoothly, covering the entire surface. The second layer should be applied by the same method as the first one leaving small impregnations, maintaining the layer thickness, which depends on the desired depth of the shells. In other words, the more pronounced the texture you would like to reproduce, the more layer should be applied. Now leave the wall to dry for 20-30 minutes, so that excessive moisture has evaporated and the material is slightly grabbed. Using a classic Venetian trowel with rounded corners, smooth the surface with chaotic movements in different directions. Please note that when smoothing, the number and depth of craters remaining depends on the degree of pressure on the instrument. Therefore, we recommend attentively to this process.
The next step is to create a rust effect. The material to create corrosion is called Ferroco. It consists of three parts:
FERROCO - iron oxide
Activator - solution based on HCl
FERROCO TRASPARENTE - lacquer, stops the corrosion process and gives the coating protective properties.
After complete drying of the decorative base INTONACHINO (in 24-48 hours), apply FERROCO material to the surface with a simple brush or sponge, covering the entire surface. And leave the coating to dry for 12-24 hours.
After the FERROCO material has dried, apply a Kymera activator with a sea sponge or brush. And leave the surface for 24 hours for the oxidation process to take place. At the same time, the room should be well ventilated throughout the oxidation process. Apply the activator should be in rubber or latex gloves, as the composition contains HCl.
After 24 hours, apply a protective clear lacquer FERROCO TRASPARENTE, using an ordinary lacquer roller. In this process, the decorative effect of rust is completed.
Drying time of a decorative covering on a contact: 4 hours
Time of full drying of a decorative covering: 24 hours
