TRAINING
For interior use, the preparation of walls must be made in accordance with the building codes for the preparation of walls for painting. Minor defects and scratches are allowed. We draw your attention to the fact that the pronounced curvature of the walls and frequent deep defects will have a significant impact on the consumption of decorative material in a big way.
DECOR
During the 3rd stage of finishing, the material TRAVERTINO IMPERIUM should be applied in 2 layers. Interlaminar drying time 4-8 hours. The first layer should be applied smoothly, covering the entire surface. The second layer should be applied by the same method as the first, maintaining the layer thickness, which depends on the desired depth of the shells. In other words, the more pronounced the texture you would like to reproduce, the thicker the layer should be applied, but not more than 3 mm. Immediately after applying the material (while it is damp), using a special tool - a Rigato brush, repel the wall to create many small blotches. Note that the blotches have just the depth equal to the thickness of the layer. Now leave the wall to dry for 20-30 minutes, so that excessive moisture has evaporated and the material is slightly grabbed. Using a classic Venetian trowel with rounded corners, smooth the surface with chaotic movements in different directions. Please note that when smoothing, the number and depth of craters remaining depends on the degree of pressure on the instrument. Therefore, we recommend attentively to this process. Drying time is 24 hours.
4th stage, create the effect of copper.
After the TRAVERTINO IMPERIUM decorative base is completely dry (after 24 hours), apply Metalline Bronze to the surface with a cellulose sponge, covering the entire surface. And leave the coating to dry for 12-24 hours.
After the Metalline Bronze has dried, apply Metalline Silver with a cellulose sponge, tinted in the desired color. It is better to dilute the material by 15-30% with water, so that the material remains in the shells and not on a smooth surface when applied. And leave the coating to dry for 24 hours.
Time of full drying of a decorative covering: 24 hours
